Deviceimage Basic is particularly suitable for users, who are looking for an data backup application that can be quickly and easily launched.

The program dispenses with long installation operations and starts immediately after the DeviceImage CD boots. Then, the user is led quickly and safely through the application via the character-based interface. Helpful default values in the individual menu items minimise the risk of operating errors. DeviceImage Basic supports the user in the administration of older backups and if required, also automatically removes the oldest backup generation.

Naturally, DeviceImage Basic also allows the cloning of hard disks and the backing up of extremely large files (film sequences, databases, photo albums, etc.)..
